Its vision explores the unseen and unknown by augmenting the familiar. Through acts of "data graffiti", existing tropes, systems and icons are vandalised to reveal the hidden. Data sets are integral to this process, as are the methods of expression. The initial series (Winston Churchill by_) utilised sentiment analysis of social media posts to highlight subversive bias during the BLM London protests 2020. The series continues to operate in real-time, exposing and evolving.
Projects are research-driven and expand upon notions of identity, vandalism, iconography, data "objectivity", the "virtual" and time.
The intention is to re-examine, renew and recreate the constructs we believe to be true. To provoke self-reflection on the impact of our actions and their social consequences.
