[Tekst dostępny tylko w języku angielskim] Angela D’Onghia and Simona Vacca are a multimedia artist duo based in Rome. Their individual practices approach technology from different perspectives, bringing together critical research, interactive media, performing arts and corporeality.

Angela D’Onghia’s research revolves around technology, politics and media, exploring their aesthetic and ideological frameworks. Her work investigates machine ethics, narratives of power and the ecology of information. Rather than seeking definitive answers, her practice creates opportunities for critical reflection and shared imagination, questioning the structures through which technology and media participate in shaping the present.

Simona Vacca, who graduated from IED in 2023, focuses on interactive and multimedia installations. Her practice centres on the performing arts, corporeality and the relationship between movement, space and technology, exploring how these elements interact within multimedia environments.

Together, D’Onghia and Vacca create experimental scenarios in which body and technology intersect. Their collaborative practice brings their different areas of research into dialogue, using the body and technology as tools to read and reimagine the present.
