[Tekst dostępny tylko w języku angielskim] Matar al Gato is a multimedia art & sound art happening, whose outcome is a digital art work by itself.

An ephemeral happening whose only preservation is a digital file (or a series of digital files). This files preserve the performance and, on the other hand, the various platforms which take part of it.

Both the performance and the digital files represent for us the work of art.

The first work, Matar al Gato 01 - Funk Lore, was premiered during the event “Taxidermia del Sonido”at Ex Teresa Arte Actual, Mexico City, March 25th 2010.

Matar al Gato are Sol Rezza (sound artist & sound designer) and Daniel Ivan (multimedia artist).
