Synopsis
The workshop is divided into practical activities, technical exercises and theoretical discussions. Students learn different body-tracking techniques and how to apply them in the practical context of their personal projects. The focus is on interactive dance and choreography in a virtual or phyiscal space.
Duration
3 sessions, 4 hours each sessions.
Programme
Day 1:
Introduction to Isadora software.
Exercises for body-tracking software programming
Day2:
Interaction with other software to record movement in the software Isadora.
Software-hardware-sensor.
Day 3
Tracking excercise applied to the scene.
OBJECTIVES:
The students learn how to use computer software and sensing devices to develop a live video performance project involving interactive dance and the body.
REQUIREMENTS :
Laptop with Mac os 10.6 or higher with isadora license , OSculator and Delicode Nimate. Prior Knowledge of programming short cuts on Apple Mac.
