[Tekst dostępny tylko w języku angielskim] Journey is part of an ongoing series of works reflecting on transition, transience and change. A journey could be anything from a quest to a short wander in the woods, from emotional development to pure movement.
Journey I is a live AV performance from Jem the Misfit in collaboration with musician Kyson and will manipulate video and audio samples of water flows in real time across 3 screens. Water can be calm, glittering and utterly enticing. It can also be loud, turbulent, violent even - much like the journeys in our life. Journey will play on these multiplicities to take the audience on their own journey across the 30min performance.

The Journey series grows out of my 5 months of travel through Europe last year, the transition to living in Berlin and from a recent opportunity to reflect on these ideas of journeying, mapping and documenting through a live AV performance with Peter Kirn at Supermarkt space in Berlin, charting the transient suburb of Wedding through audio and video samples taken from the suburb.
