A collaborative Audio/Visual interaction performance/project founded by visual artist Botond Kelemen & visual artist / musician Lynn Mayya who are based in Linz-Austria.

BASIX_Latency is a performance duo that creates immersive, interactive environments with generative real-time visuals and audio using a node based visual programming language for real time interactive multimedia content creating a truly interactive and dynamic experience.

The project is still under implementation and experimentation for a further development, we are focused and aiming to create spaces where the audience can interact with the projected visuals through audience participation, movement of sensor-based devices, or motion triggers

The visuals are inspired by the minimalist movement, it contains complex geometrical designs in the color theme of black and white with an RGB chromatic touch, created using a combination of generative and procedural graphics, 3D modeling, and real-time video processing. The visuals are designed to be reactive to the music and sounds being played, using advanced audio analysis techniques to map the sound waves to the visual components. This creates a stunning and dynamic interplay between the visuals and the audio, providing a rich and immersive experience for the audience.

The visuals are inspired by the connection between minimalism and the techno movement.
It features complex geometric patterns created using a combination of generative and procedural graphics, 3D modeling and real-time video processing to create an unusual multi-level and novel experience.
The color scheme is the basis of the visual, with a black and white theme linked to monochrome minimalist inspiration while the RGB chromatic touch displays modernity.

The audio input currently is a live dj set. However, the sound experience is still under development as we’re aiming to include more analog music devices in future.

The project can be customized and adapted to a wide range of music genres and styles, making it suitable for a diverse range of events and performances. Whether it's an electronic music festival or a classical concert, the audio visual project based on TouchDesigner is a captivating and unforgettable experience that combines cutting-edge technology with artistic expression.
