[Text available only in English] AI-generated images are not illustrations. They are fragments of collective memory reorganised, distilled from billions of human images and returned in forms that never existed but always seem already seen. Using them to tell stories means learning to work with something that remembers without having lived.
"AI Pipeline for Narrative Storytelling with ComfyUI" is a six-hour hands-on workshop in which participants build a complete workflow for generative visual storytelling. Guided by Andrea Ciulu — Roman artist and creative director with twenty years of experience in the creative industries and an ongoing personal research into AI post-photography — participants learn to use ComfyUI not as a single-image generator, but as a modular system for producing coherent visual sequences capable of sustaining a narrative over time.
The workshop addresses the concrete questions that anyone working with AI for storytelling encounters every day: how to maintain visual consistency from one image to the next, how to build custom pipelines that respond to a narrative intention, how to integrate human control into a process that tends towards automation. Each participant works directly in ComfyUI, building and testing their own workflow during the session.
The result is not a series of beautiful images. It is a sequence that tells something — and a method for doing it again.
To participate actively in the workshop, participants must bring their own laptop with ComfyUI already installed. Those without a working installation will be able to follow the workshop as observers.
