We are witnessing the end of the analogue consciousness.
Human consciousness will be shared more than ever before in history -- we are entering the era of one-world-mind -- the global mind is now replacing the global village. Ideas will spread with viral speed or spontaneously ignite worldwide and mutate just as quickly.

Authority on all levels will be meaningless. The authority of the GUI will be absolute. Human consciousness will move towards the goal of being conjoined with computer consciousness as a matter of course. The effects of these changes will impact on every aspect of human conscious more so than any other technological revolution in the history of civilization.

S-W-I-M is an audio visual interface which will allow the artist to connect to such a system via Blue-tooth, wearing a head-mounted EEG device. Images displayed by the system are from an archive of Internet imagery, collated by Lethe. A Psychophysical bond created between the archive and the archivist, Lethe's mind will connect with the software and effect the stream throughout the evening.

'The 'Smart Archive' is aware of it's creator. It is a product of it's creators memory. As a result of Neurological interactions it is inscribed with shadows of my Psychophysical presence. It is conscious of it's creator. What we are witnessing is the process of becoming post-human; we will no longer require a 'physical space' to store our memories.
