SUBTERRANEANS

Do we control our destiny, or do unseen forces manipulate us? How real are the images we see? Why something, that seems to be so tangible for a moment, could disappear in no time? Yesterday you had it all, and now it's all gone. All of it just vanished in a wink of an eye. Imagine all life as you know it ending instantaneously. Imagine every molecule in your body exploding at the speed of light.

What if the apocalypse is now? Even if some particularly resilient creatures will be lucky enough to survive it, they will inherit a planet whose appearance will change beyond recognition.

What if there’s something that can wipe out absolutely anything in the blink of an eye, from tiny insects to entire universes?

Numerous attempts to explore these issues from artistic perspective resulted in an audiovisual piece “Subterraneans”.
